If you haven’t heard about the UK government’s shortsighted, ridiculous and widely-opposed plans to disconnect web users suspected of illegal downloading, then it’s worth getting yourself educated. A petition asking the Prime Minister to amend/drop the bill has been started at the official Downing Street website, and so far it has almost 30,000 signatories.
